Sounds and Sweet Airs
Friday the 15th July 2016 from 7:30pm - 10:30pm
Concert items will include a mix of many musical styles with items ranging from the fifth to the twentieth century. Choral music by John Rutter, Bernstein, Bruckner, Byrd, Morley, Vaughan Williams and Handel's Hallelujah Chorus will be interspersed with performances from musicals, reflecting our chosen theme.
In celebration of Shakespeare's 400th anniversary, the musical programme will be linked with pertinent and well-known excerpts from his plays.
Tickets are £5.00 and summer refreshments will be available outside - weather permitting of course - !! at the interval.
